UPDATE: Route 17 North, South Reopened at West Ramapo Avenue Overpass
The highway has been reopened after wires and a utility pole fell.
UPDATE:
Route 17 North and South has been reopened after being closed at the West Ramapo Avenue overpass due to a downed utility pole and “wires down across the highway,” Mayor William Laforet said in a nixle alert to residents.
Verizon responded and removed the cables Tuesday afternoon.
