After a nine-day search, a horse that went missing from a Mahwah farm last week has been found, NorthJersey.com reported.
According to the report, two people found Chief – a black and white spotted horse who had been boarding at a farm on Route 202 –near the Tennessee Gas Pipeline at about 12:30 p.m. Monday.
Besides a few scrapes, the horse’s owner told NorthJersey.com that he was unharmed.

Locals have been searching the area for over a week, since the horse ran away while being ridden in the woods near Ramapo College.
