TEANECK, NJ — A mother was arrested in connection with the assault and subsequent death of her infant child following an October 2019 incident in Teaneck, official records said.
Raeshonn Corbo, 30, of Teaneck, was charged last week with first-degree aggravated manslaughter, second-degree aggravated assault, and second- degree endangering the welfare of a child.
On Oct. 31, 2019, the father, Jonathan Melendez, was charged with aggravated manslaughter after the death of the child. Corbo had then taken the child to the hospital for injuries sustained in the assault, Patch previously reported.

A Bergen County Grand Jury recently determined that Corbo was also responsible for the assault and death of the child, one of a set of twins. Both twins were injured (fractures, head trauma) in the assault, records said.
Corbo, according to records, "purposely or knowingly cause serious injury" to the child, "manifesting extreme indifference to the value of human life."
