Multi-Alarm House Fire Rages In Mahwah: Authorities
A fully involved house fire off of Wyckoff Avenue required a three-alarm response from mutual aid departments, authorities said.
MAHWAH, NJ — A fully involved house fire far off of the roadway Thursday in Mahwah required a three-alarm response from several nearby mutual aid departments, authorities said. No one was seriously injured.
Heavy fire, responding departments said, was coming out of the first and second floors and extending to the attic of the large, two-and-a-half-story house. Eventually, the fire damaged and ripped open the roof.
Firefighters battled the blaze from outside the structure, and then made an interior attack, authorities said.
