NJ TRANSIT Offers Free Tickets To Vaccine Appointments

NJ TRANSIT's initiative, "VAXRIDE," is offering tickets at no cost for rides to vaccine appointments.

BERGEN COUNTY — Through NJ TRANSIT's initiative, "VAXRIDE," NJ residents will be able to receive tickets at no cost for rides to vaccine appointments.

You can use the NJ TRANSIT mobile app, visit a NJ TRANSIT customer service office or call customer service to register to receive up to 4 one-way tickets. You will need two for each appointment. If you’re using the mobile app, you’ll need to enter the code “VAXRIDE” to receive the tickets.

You can use the map provided by NJ TRANSIT to find vaccination sites accessible through bus, train and light rail routes. Click here to view the map.
