No Reopening Date Yet For Indoor Ski Slopes At American Dream
The reopening process for Big SNOW at American Dream has been hampered in part by the coronavirus pandemic, the company said.
EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ — There is not yet a reopening date for Big SNOW at American Dream, the company announced, as there have been several setbacks.
The indoor ski and snowboard slopes inside the mall closed in September after a fire in part of the park's snow dome. There were no injuries.
In an Instagram post, Big SNOW said the company is "stuck in the middle of logistical constraints and global manufacturing delays."

Big SNOW had hoped to reopen early in 2022.
"Once we have a date we can commit to, you will be the first to know," Big SNOW said. "Until then, we hope you are enjoying the snow outdoors and trust that we will be back stronger than ever just as soon as we can. Thank you."

New Jersey-based SNOW Operating runs the facility, which is touted as the first of its kind in the United States and Canada.
