One Dead, Another Hurt In Teaneck Crash: Police

A two-vehicle crash on Saturday at the intersection of Windsor Road and Briarcliff Road left a 92-year-old man dead, police said.

TEANECK, NJ — A two-vehicle crash on Saturday in Teaneck left one dead and another hospitalized, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said in a news release.

Albert Schnellbacker, 92, of Bergenfield, was fatally struck when he was turning onto Windsor Road from Briarcliff Road. He was found unconscious and not breathing, and taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead, the prosecutor's office said.

The other driver was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, the office said.
