Happening this week in Mahwah:

The Plant Church is hosting a family movie night on the big screen outside Ramapo Ridge Middle School this Friday. The community is invited to check out the film for free. Check Patch this week for more details. 

After a heated meeting last week, the Mahwah Township Council is set to meet again this Thursday. Check Patch this week for an update on council proceedings.

Stories to look for this week on Patch:

A new business is trying to open on Franklin Turnpike.  There are a few other similar businesses already on the roadway. Although the owners say this business will set itself apart from those, it can’t start moving into the township until it gets certain approvals its waiting on from Mahwah’s Planning Board.

A Mahwah mom who started her own environmentally-conscious clothing line last year is expanding her project with new design ideas. See a Groovy Globe business update this week on Patch.
