Pedestrian Hit, Killed In Bergen County, Officials Said
Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that claimed the life of a pedestrian in Bergen County.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A hit-and-run crash Tuesday night left a pedestrian dead, according to authorities.
The pedestrian, who was not identified, was hit at approximately 8:51 p.m. on Outwater Lane in Garfield, the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office said.
The prosecutor's office is investigating and has withheld the victim's name pending notification of next of kin.
