Police Release Mahwah 4th of July Reminders

No trash pick-up and plenty of nearby fireworks celebrations to choose from this 4th.

The Mahwah Police Department released the following reminders to residents about the 4th of July holiday weekend via a Nixle alert:

  • There will be no garbage pick up on Friday, July 4th. If this is your scheduled pick up day it will be collected on Saturday July 5th.
  • There will be no recycling collection on July 4th. The normal recycling collection schedule will resume on Monday July 7th.
  • The Township recycling center is also closed on Saturday, July 5th. 
Other closures to keep in mind:
  • Town hall is closed on July 4.
  • The Mahwah Senior Center is closed on July 4.
  • The Mahwah Library is closed on July 4.
