Pre-Super Bowl Parties to Feature NFL Players

Sports Authority will be hosting a pair of Super Bowl pre-game parties on Saturday to celebrate Sunday’s big game between the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks.

Former Jets receiver and Garfield-native Wayne Chrebet is scheduled to be at the Clifton store from noon to 1:30 p.m, and Giants cornerback Prince Amukamara will appear at the Secaucus location from 2 to 4 p.m.

The Secaucus and Clifton Sports Authority stores will be giving away a tote and water bottle to the first 100 people, a $50 Sports Authority gift card every hour for the duration of the party, and the best dressed fan will receive a $100 Sports Authority gift card, according to a release from the company.

Both events will include contests with prizes, a face painter, food truck, photo booth, and a live DJ.

Customers can also enter to win a $250 Sports Authority shopping spree from Feb. 1 until Feb. 8.

Both events will be held on Saturday from noon until 7 p.m. The Clifton store is located at 415 Rte. 3 East and the Secaucus location is 31 Mill Creek Drive.
