Ramapo College Field Hockey Takes Conference Tournament Crown
The Roadrunners capped off a historic season with a record of 15-7 overall, and an ECAC tournament victory to boot.
MAHWAH, NJ — To call the Ramapo College field hockey season a success would be an understatement.
After earning the best record in program history, the Roadrunners also took home the ECAC Tournament crown, beating Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham in a 2-1 final on Sunday.
The Roadrunners, who were the #1 overall seed in the tournament, finished the season with a program best record of 15-7 overall.

Victoria Docherty was named ECAC Tournament MVP, buoying the Roadrunners with three goals, one assist and seven points during their tournament run.

Docherty also scored the first goal of the day against FDU, with Katie Yarussi scoring the game winner in the fourth quarter. The tournament victory was the first postseason championship in the history of the program.
