Ramapo College Hosts 'Battle of the Bands' to Benefit Center for Food Action March 28
The event will feature three bands from Ramapo College and three bands from Rutgers University, who will compete to win a recording session.

The Ramapo College Music Club will host its first annual Ramapo vs. Rutgers Battle of the Bands on Saturday, March 28 to benefit the Center for Food Action.
The event will feature three bands from Ramapo College, including Ambary Lake, Arch-Vile and Flying Peesh, and three bands from Rutgers University, including Area IVI, Shy Shape and Fiscal Cliff. Each band will be judged by a variety of guest judges and will be competing for a grand prize of recording a 3-song EP from Treehouse Sound.
Battle of the Bands will be held at Ramapo College’s Bradley Center Auxiliary Gym, located at 505 Ramapo Valley Road in Mahwah, at 8 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased for $5 at Roadrunner Central in Ramapo’s Student Center or at the door. Those in attendance can also bring two non-perishable food items in exchange for a ticket.
All profits and food donations from the Battle of the Bands will benefit the Center for Food Action, a local food pantry in Mahwah.
