Reader Photos: Stryker Packs 6,000 Stockings for Mahwah Marine Moms
Moms plan to send the stockings to troops overseas during the holiday season.
To honor the National Day of Service and Remembrance on Wednesday, September 11, 2013, Stryker Orthopaedics once again welcomed Mahwah Marine Moms and North Jersey Military Moms to its Mahwah campus as part of a care package donation drive and community service event.
Over 6,000 donations were collected and employees filled stockings with various snack and toiletry items to send to our troops overseas during the holiday season.
Bill Huffnagle, Reconstructive Division President expressed his gratitude to all employees and Mahwah Marine Moms as he stated, “We are thrilled with the wonderful participation again this year for a great and important cause. Stryker’s proud to be part of this community and to support a local organization that reminds us to never take for granted the little things in life. It’s our hope this year that these stockings bring a little holiday cheer from home to the men and women overseas.”
