Sub-Freezing Temps Put Mahwah Schools On Delayed Opening Thursday

A 16-degree high is forecast for Thursday.

MAHWAH, NJ — Township public schools will be on a delayed opening schedule Thursday due to the sub-freezing temperatures that continue to blanket North Jersey.

  • Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 16. Wind chill values as low as -14. West wind 11 to 14 mph.
  • Thursday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 6. Wind chill values as low as -1. West wind 7 to 10 mph.
  • Friday: A slight chance of snow after 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 23. West wind 5 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
  • Friday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 15.
