Today in Mahwah: Special Election Registration Deadline
Special election will determine who will replace the late Senator Lautenberg.

Tuesday is the last day residents can register to vote in a special primary being held on August 13. The primary will determine candidates for the special election in October that will fill the Senate seat vacated by the late Frank Lautenberg.
Mahwah announced earlier this month that town hall will be open late Tuesday to accomodate late registrants:
Tuesday, July 23, 2013 the Township Clerk's office will be open until 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. for all new voter registrations for the Special Primary Elections that will take place on August 13, 2013. The Township Clerk's office witll be open from 5 a.m. until 10 p.m. during the elections on August 13. For any questions you may have, please contact the Town Clerk's office at 201-529-5757 Ext. 231.
