Dump Truck Crash In Mahwah Shuts Down Traffic On I-287 For 4 Hours: Police
An overturned dump truck in Mahwah caused I-287 North to close for four hours Wednesday morning, state police said.
MAHWAH, NJ — Interstate 287 North was closed for approximately four hours Wednesday morning, after a Mack dump truck struck a guardrail and overturned near milepost 62.5 in Mahwah, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Lawrence Peele said.
In the crash that occurred just before 8 a.m., the driver sustained moderate injuries and was taken to an area hospital in serious condition, Peele said.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash, which remains under investigation, police said.
