Woman, 36, Dies After Jumping From George Washington Bridge: Officials
A 36-year-old woman died when she jumped off the George Washington Bridge Friday morning in an apparent suicide, authorities confirmed.
FORT LEE, NJ — A 36-year-old woman jumped to her death from the George Washington Bridge around 6 a.m. Friday, according to authorities.
Her death was confirmed a suicide, Port Authority spokesperson Lenis Valens said.
New York police Sgt. Anwar Ishmael also said no criminality is suspected.
