1,200+ Lost Power Thursday Morning in Manalapan/Englishtown

Manalapan, NJ - An estimated 1,218 customers in Manalapan Township and Englishtown borough were without electricity Thursday morning, as JCP&L reported a power outage in the area.

Line crews are en route, JCP&L said. The outage occurred at about 9:20 a.m. Thursday, with most of the customers back by 10: 14 a.m and all the affected customers back by 12:43 p.m. Like a similar outage Tuesday night in Marlboro Township, the outage was caused by a broken piece of cross-arm equipment, JCP&L said.
