MANALAPAN, NJ —Released by Manalapan police and unedited by Patch, all crimes and arrests from Aug. 18 to 24.

On Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at approximately 5:48 p.m., a 63-year-old Manalapan resident and 64-year-old Manalapan resident reported items being left in front of their Amberly Drive residences. Patrolman Jeremy Slad handled the report.

On Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at approximately 5:21 p.m., a 37-year-old Manalapan resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters to report an EZ-pass being removed from a vehicle. The victim was unaware of when it was stolen or who had stolen it. The stolen EZ-Pass had been utilized and incurred $210 worth of charges. Patrolman Matthew Porricelli took the
report, which is pending further investigation.

On Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at approximately 3 p.m., employees of the Pure Barre business located at 357 Route 9 in Manalapan reported a suspicious voice mail message left by an unknown actor making threats unless they were paid $10,000. Patrolman Matthew Porricelli took the report, which is pending further investigation. On Monday, August 23, 2021, at approximately 7:16 p.m., a 51-year-old Manalapan resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters and reported that an unknown actor filed for unemployment benefits in the victim’s name. Patrolman Jeremy Slad handled the report.

On Monday, August 23, 2021, at approximately 1:01 p.m., employees of AT&T Wireless reported that an unknown actor(s) unlawfully entered and removed property valued at $3,280.00 from a Wilson Avenue utility area. This incident occurred sometime between July 31, 2021 and August 23, 2021. Patrolman Joseph DeFilippis handled the report, which is pending further investigation.

On Monday, August 23, 2021, at approximately 9:04 a.m., a 59-year-old Manalapan resident reported that an unknown actor(s) filed an unemployment claim using their personal information. Patrolman Ryan Brady handled the report.

On Friday, August 20, 2021, at approximately 4:33 p.m., a 46-year-old Manalapan Township resident reported that unknown actor(s) utilized their personal information to file for unemployment benefits. Patrolman Sean McCarthy handled the report.

On Friday, August 20, 2021, at approximately 3:55 p.m., a 61-year-old Manalapan Township resident reported that unknown actor(s) utilized their personal information to file for unemployment benefits. Patrolman James Guarino handled the report.

On Friday, August 20, 2021, at approximately 11:28 a.m., a 44-year-old Marlboro, New Jersey resident reported that on August 19, 2021 between 8:30 a.m. and 3:45 p.m., unknown actor(s) damaged the victim’s vehicle while it was parked at the Four Season’s clubhouse, located on Palomino Drive in Manalapan. The extent of damage caused is currently not known. Anyone with information is requested to contact the Manalapan Township Police Department at 732-446-4300. Patrolman Bartholomew Mattaliano handled the report, which is pending further investigation.

On Friday, August 20, 2021, at approximately 10:35 a.m., Patrolman Kyle Williams conducted a motor vehicle stop on State Route 33 for a motor vehicle violation. The passenger, identified as Mina Ebid, a 42-year-old, married, resident of Burlington, NJ, who is employed as a painter, was found to be in possession of prescription medications without a valid prescription. Mr. Ebid was arrested and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and released after being issued a summons. Patrolman Kyle Williams was the arresting officer.

On Thursday, August 19, 2021, at approximately 8:25 a.m., a 53-year-old Manalapan Township resident reported that unknown actor(s) utilized their personal information to file for unemployment benefits. Patrol Officer Jean Letts handled the report.

On Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at 2:18 p.m., a 21-year-old Manalapan resident reported that an unknown actor scratched the rear of the victim’s vehicle sometime during the overnight hours. Patrolman Kevin Ruditsky handled the report.
