1. Rainy Day: There is a 60 percent chance of rain today, according to the National Weather Service, which will likely fall early in the morning. Otherwise, the day will be cloudy with a high temperature around 64. Tonight, there is an 80 percent chance of rain and the low temperature will drop to around 42.

 

 

2. Government:

  • The Cable TV Advisory is meeting in room 213 of the Manalapan Township Municipal Building at 7:30 p.m.
  • The Recreation Advisory Board is meeting in the Recreation Main Office at 8 p.m.

3. FRHSD BOE: The Freehold Regional High School District Board of Education is meeting at Manalapan High School tonight at 8 p.m. Tonight, the Student Recognition Awards will be distributed and the Spooktacular window painting contest winners will be recognized.

 

 

4. Sandy Fundraiser: The Freehold Township Democratic Club is hosting a fundraiser tonight to benefit the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties. The fundraiser will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the All Seasons II Restaurant, located at 4135 Route 9 in Freehold. The buffet dinner costs $30; net proceeds will be donated to the FoodBank.
