Annual Christmas Tree, Menorah Lightings Set In Manalapan

MANALAPAN, NJ — As the holiday season begins, Manalapan Township is set to host two holiday lighting ceremonies in December.
Christmas Tree Lighting
On Wednesday, Dec. 3, the town will host their annual Christmas Tree Lighting at Manalapan Town Hall.
The event will kick off at 6:45 p.m. with the Manalapan Regional Orchestra, followed by the arrival of Santa Claus and the tree lighting at 7 p.m.

There will also be a Misfit Theater performance at 7 p.m. and a Rising Stars dance performance at 7:30 p.m., township officials said.
Attendees will be welcome to take pictures with Santa, enjoy hot chocolate from Smooth Sailing Coffee, visit the town’s Winter Wonderland, and submit letters to Santa at the town’s special mailbox, which will be outside until Dec. 17.

Menorah Lighting
On Wednesday, Dec. 17, the township will host their Annual Menorah Lighting at the Manalapan Municipal Building.
The event will kick off at 7 p.m. with the menorah lighting and will be followed with latkes and jelly donuts for attendees.
“We hope you will be able to attend!” the township said in an online post. “Let us celebrate Hanukkah with hope, love and light.”
More information on the holiday lighting events will follow, township officials said.
