Tracing the evolution of inventions involving radios, communication & music including transistor radios, tube radios, futuristic designed radios, crystal radios, telegraphs, box wooden telephones, teletypes, wire recorders, 8 track, Sony Walkman, reel to reel, calliope players, barrel organ grinders, Spy tech from WW2 (yes a Cipher!) & pigeons parachutes, cell phones and computers. Audience members experience interactive demonstrations and the history of each item.

We play music and we listen to music, with The Museum of Interesting Things we get to see how we did both by actually using the various music players from over 100 years ago to today!

About the presenter: Curator and founder of the Museum of Interesting Things Denny Daniel brings his travelling interactive demonstrations and exhibitions of antiques and inventions to a variety of educational settings to inspire creativity and innovation for all. He has appeared on the History Channel, The Science Channel, NY1 News, PBS, over 20 journalistic publications, and has delivered 4 TEDx Talks. Daniel, a New York University graduate, often lectures at his alma mater and Columbia University.
