Driver Dies Following Fiery Crash Into Manalapan Home
The crash occurred early Tuesday when police said a vehicle left the road and crashed into a home on Craig Road.
MANALAPAN, NJ — The driver involved in an early morning crash on Tuesday has died, Manalapan Police Lt. Jared Aronson said.
The incident occurred around 5 a.m. on Tuesday when Manalapan Police said a vehicle crashed into a home on Craig Road in the area of Symmes Drive.
Following the crash, Aronson said the driver, a 57-year-old man from Englishtown, was pronounced dead at Centra State Medical Center.

Manalapan Police said no further information is available at this time due to an ongoing investigation into the incident.

From there, the house caught on fire, and police said passing motorists were able to remove the driver from their vehicle. Once the driver was removed, police said they were treated by Atlantic EMS and brought to an area hospital.
The lone occupant of the house was safely removed following the incident, police said. A dog also escaped the home, according to a report from News 12 NJ.
The Gordons Corner Fire Company and neighboring fire departments responded to extinguish the fire.
The incident is being investigated by Detective Matthew Meyler of the Manalapan Township Police Department and the Monmouth County Fire Marshall's Office.
