Drug Store Robbed In Manalapan
Medications, computers stolen from RX Express Pharmacy on Route 9, according to a weekly police report of crime in the township.
MANALAPAN, NJ —The RX Express Pharmacy on Route 9 was robbed by three people in ski masks, police reported.
On Wednesday morning, March 27, employees contacted police and said three people forced entry into the business and removed various medications and computers.
The value of the stolen items was unknown at this time, police said.

The people were seen wearing all black, with black masks and gloves, arriving in a newer model BMW X series, which was black in color.
The thieves fled the scene on Franklin Lane towards Route 9 north.

Patrolman Thomas Butz handled the report on the matter, which is pending further investigation.
Police reported other thefts:
- March 28: An East Windsor resident, 51, reported the theft of a bag containing approximately $9,750. in cash. Patrolman Vincent Rubino handled the report, which is pending investigation.
- March 30: Employees of the Balkan Market, Route 9 in Manalapan, reported that someone forced entry to the business and removed $300. Patrolman Brandon Rodrigues handled the report, which is pending further investigation.
Police also reported the following crimes:
- April 1: A Manalapan resident, 49, told police someone made unauthorized transactions using the victim’s debit card in the amount of $440.32. Patrolman Connor Kelly handled the report, which is pending further investigation.
- April 1: A Manalapan resident, 33, reported that someone used their credit card to purchase diesel fuel in the amount of $749.50 on March 27. Patrolman Marshall Bitsko handled the initial report, which is pending further investigation.
- March 30: A Manalapan Township resident, 45, told police they were defrauded in the amount of $800 via Facebook. Patrolman Mantas Stanion handled the report, which is pending further investigation.
- March 29: A Manalapan resident, 93, reported that someone defrauded them of $1,000. Patrolman Matthew Schwartz handled the report, which is pending further investigation.
- March 29: A Manalapan resident, 45, reported that someone successfully made a mobile deposit transaction in the amount of $899.69. Patrolman Connor Kelly handled the report, which is pending further investigation.
- March 28: A Manalapan resident, 72, reported that someone gained access to a Verizon account and made purchases in the amount of $520.00. Patrolman Hunter Mauro handled the incident.
- March 28: A Manalapan resident, 19, reported that an unknown actor filed a tax return using the victim’s social security number. No monetary loss was reported as a result of this incident. Patrolman Hunter Mauro handled this incident.
- March 30: An employee of Verizon Wireless, Route 9 in Manalapan, reported being assaulted by an unknown person after a dispute over attempting to return an item. Patrolman Brandon Rodrigues handled the report.
- April 1: Employees of the Wegmans Supermarket, Route 9 in Manalapan, reported that an unknown person shoplifted items valued at $335.04. Patrol Officer JeanMarie Kaminnski handled the report, which is pending further investigation.
