Expired Car Registration Leads to Marijuana Arrest
A Hillsdale man was arrested for allegedly being in possession of marijuana while driving a car in Manalapan Township.
Manalapan Police arrested a Hillsdale man and charged him with possession of marijuana. Ptl. Bart Mattaliano, of the Manalapan Police Department, pulled Ricardo Ferraz over on Tennent Road on Friday, Nov. 23 for an expired registration.
Ferraz, 42, was found to be in possession of under 50 grams of marijuana; he was also charged with possession of marijuana while operating a motor vehicle.
Ferraz, a pharamceutical representative, was arrested, charged with both offenses, and released pending court.
