Former Manalapan Schools Custodian Dies at 82
Nathan Amato was a former member of the Englishtown Knights of Columbus.

Nathan V. Amato, 82, of Bath, Pa. died Sept. 22 in St.Lukes Hospital, Fountain Hill. He was the husband of Virginia (Pantelleria) Amato. They celebrated 58 years of marriage on January 29, 2013.
Nathan was born June 26, 1931 in New York City. Son of the late Joseph and Josephine (Giammona) Amato. Personal: Nathan retired as a custodian in the Manalapan school district, NJ. Prior he was a foreman at the Luxury Braid Co. Elizabeth, NJ. Nathan proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Nathan was a former member of St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church, Manalapan, NJ., and was a very active member of the Knights of Columbus, Englishtown, NJ. Survivors: Besides his wife, Nathan is survived by a daughter, Josephine Vine and husband Mark, Bath. Son, Joseph Amato, Bethlehem. 2 Grandsons, Christopher Vine and Joseph Amato. Sisters, Angelina Rosato and husband Michael and Lucille Morreale and husband Robert, all of East Quoge, NJ. Pre-deceased brothers, Frank and Joseph Amato.
Services will be on Friday at 10:15 AM in the Joseph F. Reichel Funeral Home, Inc. 220 Washington Park, Nazareth. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Bath. Burial in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem. Calling hours are Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM and Friday 9:30 AM till services, in the funeral home.
