Manalapan Police reported four incidents of fraud from Jan. 16 through Jan. 21.
MANALAPAN, NJ — Manalapan Police reported incidents of fraud, assault, theft and more from Jan. 16 through Jan. 21.
Jan. 16
A 26-year-old Manalapan resident reported a vehicle fire which subsequently caused damage to the garage of a Criollo Road home.
The Englishtown Fire Department, Manalapan Fire Company 1, Monroe Fire Department, Gordon’s Corner Fire Company, Millstone Fire Department and the Freehold Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire.

No injuries were sustained as a result of the incident, which appears to be accidental in nature.
Jan. 17
A 72-year-old Monroe Township resident reported that sometime during the course of the past two weeks, someone defaced a bathroom stall at Knob Hill Country Lanes, located at 363 Route 33 in Manalapan.

A 44-year-old Manalapan resident reported being assaulted on Thursday, Jan. 16, at 5 p.m. on St. Andrew’s Place in Manalapan. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
A 45-year-old Manalapan resident reported that someone had been fraudulently using an EZ-Pass account and an old temporary registration that belonged to the victim.
Jan. 18
Employees of the Englishtown Flea Market, located at 90 Wilson Avenue in Manalapan, reported that during overnight hours, a dark-colored sport utility vehicle occupied by 4 people entered the property and caused damage to a gate valued at $344.
Jan. 19
Employees of Verizon Wireless located at 55 Route 9 in Manalapan reported that a man tried to purchase two Apple iPhones using fraudulent ID.
Jan. 21
A 34-year-old Manalapan resident reported being defrauded of $2,200 via phone by someone pretending to be a law enforcement officer.
A 45-year-old Manalapan resident reported that someone opened cell phone accounts in their name for $913.32.
A 34-year-old Manalapan resident reported that a package, worth $60, was stolen from the porch of a Christie Court home.
A 49-year-old Manalapan resident reported being harassed by a neighbor, who had damaged property on Allen Court in Manalapan.
