Manalapan Police reported six fraud incidents from April 9 through April 15.
MANALAPAN, NJ — Manalapan Police reported incidents of fraud, theft, harassment and more from April 9 through April 15.
April 9
A 19-year-old Manalapan resident reported that, on multiple occasions, a vehicle occupied by several known people drove by their home and began yelling obscenities out the window. The victim was advised of the procedure to sign complaints.
A 53-year-old Manalapan resident reported that their signature was forged on a check. The victim is at a monetary loss of $2,110.

April 11
At 9:55 a.m., police responded to the CVS on Woodward Road for a report of a theft of merchandise. It was reported that on April 10, two people entered the store and removed $2,939.10 worth of beauty supplies. Both people placed the merchandise into backpacks that were brought into the store.
A 56-year-old Manalapan resident reported that someone stole a package with a $500 iPad inside it from their front steps.

April 12
A 58-year-old Manalapan resident reported that someone opened a credit card using their information and then used the credit card to make online purchases.
A 45-year-old Manalapan resident reported that someone used their personal information to file a fraudulent tax return.
April 14
A 22-year-old Manalapan resident reported that someone fraudulently obtained $2,500 from the victim. The victim reported a total monetary loss of $2,500.
April 15
An 81-year-old Manalapan resident and business owner reported that someone used the company’s bank account to fraudulently pay bills not associated with the victim, totaling a $6,574 monetary loss.
A 74-year-old Manalapan resident reported that someone fraudulently opened an American Express account under their name. No monetary loss was reported.
A Manalapan business reported that on April 11, unknown men and women purchased $1,967.45 worth of clothing items and deceived the cashier into exchanging cash for multiple items, resulting in incorrect change being given back to the suspects and totaling a monetary loss of $999.34 for the business.
