Freehold Regional HS District Marching Bands Come Together in District Festival at Howell HS
On October 21, come and see marching bands performing from each of the high schools in the Freehold Regional High School District.

The stadium at Howell High School will be filled with music during the Freehold Regional High School District’s (FRHSD) Marching Band Festival on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014. The marching bands from each school will showcase their amazing skills while performing their half time shows to the crowd.
The festival serves to highlight the tremendous amount of preparation and rehearsal that students and teachers apply to each half time show. When considered collectively, thousands of hours are spent writing, rewriting, studying, rehearsing and performing the shows performed by each band. The range and scope of each show is distinct and varied, providing the district’s students with a wide array of musical opportunities. The instrumental music programs of all six high schools are part of both the curricular and the co-curricular hours of the school day. The time spent in band serves not only to educate in music and related subject areas, but to showcase talent and teach character, respect, and dedication.
The show will kick off at 6 p.m. on Oct. 21, 2014 in Howell High School’s Athletic Stadium. Howell High school is located at 405 Squankum-Yellowbrook Road, Farmingdale. The rain date for the Marching Band Festival is Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014.
The schools of the Freehold Regional High School District form a diverse and supportive community offering innovative and comprehensive programs that inspire students to maximize their potential, preparing them to navigate an evolving global society.
