Harassment, Simple Assault, DWI: Manalapan Police Blotter
Manalapan Police reported two incidents of harassment from Oct. 1 through Oct. 7.
MANALAPAN, NJ — Manalapan Police reported incidents of harassment, simple assault, DWI and more from Oct. 1 through Oct. 7.
Oct. 1
At 11:54 p.m., Ptlm. Christopher Capuzzo initiated a field contact with a suspicious vehicle near Union Hill Road.
The driver of the vehicle was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and brought to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters, where they were processed and released on a summons with a future court date.

Oct. 2
A 27-year-old Manalapan resident reported that they were verbally threatened by a 19-year-old Manalapan resident. The victim was advised of the procedure to sign complaints.
Oct. 3
A 30-year-old Manalapan resident reported that someone threw a liquid substance on their parked vehicle.

An 81-year-old Manalapan resident reported that they received a fraudulent email stating that their bank account was charged $438.80. At this time, the resident is at no monetary loss.
Oct. 6
A 55-year-old Manalapan resident reported that a client they work with found their home address and left a note in their mailbox that the victim believed to be harassing.
A 66-year-old Manalapan resident reported that the back passenger side window of their vehicle was broken into, resulting in about $200 worth of damage.
At 4:17 p.m., Ptlm. Marshall Bitsko conducted a motor vehicle stop on Connor Drive for motor vehicle violations. The driver was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and brought to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters, where they were processed and later released from custody with a pending court date.
A 19-year-old Old Bridge resident reported that someone took their pouch/purse, which contained items valued at $465, while at a shopping plaza in Manalapan.
Oct. 7
A victim, who did not wish to provide personal information, reported that they were assaulted on Woodward Road in Manalapan by an unidentified person.
A 32-year-old Manalapan resident reported being harassed by someone they knew in relation to an ongoing neighbor dispute. The victim was advised of the procedure to sign complaints.
A 20-year-old Manalapan resident reported that someone took their wallets out of their shopping cart, which contained items worth $752, while at a shopping plaza in Manalapan.
