Manalapan Historical Committee is accepting items for inclusion in a time capsule to be opened at the town's 200th anniversary in 2048.

MANALAPAN, NJ — Manalapan just marked its 175th anniversary last year by, among other things, opening a time capsule from 1979 at the Manalapan Day celebration.
Now it has an eye toward its 200th anniversary - in 25 years in the year 2048.
And, once again, a sealed time capsule will be opened as part of that milestone.
