Incident At Taylor Mills School Under Investigation In Manalapan

Authorities are continuing to investigate after a false threat was reported at the school Monday afternoon, Manalapan Police said.

MANALAPAN, NJ — The Manalapan Township Police Department is continuing to investigate after a false threat was reported at Taylor Mills School on Monday afternoon, Deputy Chief Michael Hoppock said in a news release.

On Monday at 1:26 p.m., police responded to Taylor Mills School for a report of a potential threat, Hoppock said.

Working in collaboration with the Manalapan-Englishtown School District and their Director of School Safety & Security, lockdown procedures were activated as per protocol.

After an on-scene investigation by Manalapan Police (with assistance from the Monmouth County Sheriff's Department and Englishtown Police Department), police said the threat was deemed non-credible and the report received was found to be false.

"At no time were any students or staff in danger," Hoppock said. "There is no ongoing concern for student or staff safety related to this incident."
