Manalapan Man Charged With Father's Murder
Pradeep Reddy assaulted his father on April 12, he died two days later, the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office said.

MANALAPAN, NJ — A 39-year-old Manalapan man was indicted on Aug. 6 and charged with murder of his 78-year-old father, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.
Pradeep Reddy, 39, was charged with one count of first-degree murder. Authorities say Pradeep Reddy assaulted his father, Radhakrishna Reddy, leading to his death.
Manalapan Township police were called on April 12 and found Radhakrishna Reddy unconscious and critically injured, authorities said.

He was taken to a local hospital for treatment and succumbed to those injuries two days later despite significant medical intervention, officials said.
Pradeep Reddy was taken into custody and has remained at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution since his arrest. He faces up to 30 years in prison if convicted of the murder charge, officials said.
