MANALAPAN, NJ — A high-end car listed for sale on Facebook was stolen when the owner let a potential "buyer" take it for inspection by a mechanic, police said.
A Manalapan resident, 52, told police on Sept. 1 that he allowed someone he didn't know to take temporary possession of his silver 2014 Mercedes Benz C3 to be inspected by a mechanic.
