Manalapan Road To Be Closed for Weeks Starting Next Monday

Part of Daum Road in Manalapan will close starting next week for a Monmouth County pipe project. Detours will be posted for eight weeks.

MANALAPAN, NJ — Motorists can expect some traffic changes beginning next week and lasting eight weeks on Daum Road.

Police said on social media that beginning Monday, Feb. 5, Daum Road will be closed to through traffic between Iron Ore Road and Woodward Road, with a detour in place.

The closure will be for approximately eight weeks for Monmouth County pipe/bridge repair work.

Committeewoman Susan Cohen said the county has a pipe replacement project at the structure, known as Bridge MN-24. The bridge is located near 57 Daum Road, she said.

Motorists are advised to plan an alternate route, police said.
