Manalapan Student Named to Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll
Ryan Lagomarsino of Manalapan has been honored for his academic and athletic success at Muhlenberg College.
Manalapan resident Ryan Lagomarsino, a senior at Muhlenberg College and member of the men’s basketball team, was named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for his success both on and off the court.
To be named to the Academic Honor Roll, a student must be a sophomore or higher in class standing, a starter or key reserve on his team and carry at least a 3.40 cumulative grade-point average.
A history major, Lagomarsino appeared in 13 games for Muhlenberg. He made his first career start on Senior Day in an 80-56 victory over Ursinus and scored three points and grabbed two rebounds in eight minutes of action.

In January, he was named to the Lehigh Valley Small College Basketball scholar-athlete team. He will graduate with a degree in history and a certification for secondary education.
Lagomarsino was one of three seniors on a young Muhlenberg team that finished the season ranked first in the conference and in the top 25 in Division III in field-goal percentage defense (.388).

The Mules closed the year with a 17-10 record and a program-best 12-6 mark in the CC. They qualified for the conference tournament for the second straight year, where they posted a 45-43 comeback win against Gettysburg in the first round. They nearly toppled top-seeded Franklin & Marshall in the semifinals, but fell in the final minute, 48-46.
