Manalapan Third Quarter Taxes Due Thursday

Manalapan 3rd Quarter taxes are due on Aug. 1.  As per NJSA 54:5-67, the Township of Manalapan permits a 10-day grace period. However, due to the late mailing, the grace period has been extended to Aug. 23. Payments received after 4 p.m. on Aug. 23 will accrue interest charges calculated from the original due date of Aug. 1. 

Property taxes can now be viewed and  paid online at www.mtnj.org.  If you need tax amounts before you receive the bill, please visit the Tax Collector's page and follow the link.

Taxpayers may utilize the drop box located on the Tax Collector's Office Door.  The drop box is available Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Tax Collector's Office closes at 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Payments left in the drop box after 4 p.m. will be considered received as of the next business day.

If you were entitled to a Homestead Benefit Credit, it will be reflected on the third quarter stub.

The Tax Collector’s Office will have two late nights this quarter only; the first being Thursday, Aug. 1 and the second on Thursday, Aug. 8.  The office will be open from 8:30 a.m. until 7 p.m.
