Middlesex Man Died In Manalapan Accident On Iron Ore Road

MANALAPAN, NJ — A Monroe man, 86, has been identified as the victim of a fatal accident last Friday night on Iron Ore Road.

The single-vehicle crash was in the area of Dey Grove Road at about 9:55 p.m. March 29, according to Deputy Chief Leonard Maltese.

Monroe resident Pasquale Martone, 86, was driving his pick-up truck when it ran off the road.

No other car was involved in the accident, and Martone was the only occupant of his truck, Maltese said.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation by traffic safety officers, Maltese said.
