Musich Sworn In As Manalapan Mayor; McNaboe As Deputy
On Jan. 3, Manalapan Committeewoman Mary Ann Musich was named mayor; Committeeman Jack McNaboe was named deputy mayor.

MANALAPAN, NJ — Mary Ann Musich was named mayor and Jack McNaboe was named deputy mayor of the Manalapan Township Committee at its 2024 reorganization meeting Wednesday.
Former Mayor Susan Cohen and Jack McNaboe were also both sworn in for their new three-year terms, which they won in November.
This year begins Musich's 11th year serving on the Township Committee.

Assemblyman Robert D. Clifton (R-District 12); Monmouth County Clerk Christine Hanlon; Councilman Adam Reich of Freehold Borough, a longtime friend of the Cohen family; and Monmouth County Commissioner Sue Kiley administered the oaths of office to the Manalapan elected officials, the township said.
The invocation was delivered by Deacon Matthew Nicosia, St. Thomas More Church. The benediction was performed by Rabbi Chaim Leiter of Union Hill Congregation.

Apart from the oaths of office, the meeting saw the appointment of several township professionals for 2024 and appointments to township boards and commissions, according to the meeting agenda.
