Manalapan Recruits Police Officers
Apply by April 1 for police officer, SLEO II positions in the Manalapan Township Police Department.

MANALAPAN, NJ — The Manalapan Township Police Department has officially opened its hiring process for the positions of full-time and SLEO II police officers.
To apply, applicants must visit www.ManalapanPolice.org and follow the instructions, ensuring all paperwork is filled out completely.
The application deadline is April 1. A physical agility test is April 20.

All applications must be returned in person at the Manalapan Township Police Department Headquarters at 120 Route 522, Manalapan 07726 no later than 11:59 p.m. on April 1, the department said.
No applications will be accepted after the closing date and time.

Minimum qualifications include:
- Must be a citizen of the United States.
- Must be a resident of the State of New Jersey at the time of employment.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able read, write and speak the English language.
- Must be sound in body and of good health and be able to perform the physical functions of the duties assigned.
- Must be of good moral character and shall not have been convicted of any crime or offense involving moral turpitude or dishonesty that would make him/her unfit to perform the duties of police officer.
- A minimum of 60 college credits or honorable military service.
