A Cancer Survivor's Desperate Fight Against Judicial Injustice in Monmouth County

Monmouth County, NJ – My name is Farhan Qasim, and I have been left with no choice but to take my fight against judicial corruption and legal misconduct public. After surviving bladder cancer three times and living with end-stage renal disease, I now face the prospect of losing everything due to what I believe is a deeply flawed and biased legal system in Monmouth County.
This ordeal began when Becker & Poliakoff, a powerful debt collection law firm, brought false claims against me for unrendered services, primarily concerning alleged mold remediation that never occurred. Their tactics have included forgery of my signature during arbitration, rapid enforcement actions, and a levy on my bank account without prior notice. These actions have caused immense financial and emotional strain on me, a pro se defendant who has always believed in the fairness of our judicial system.
Despite presenting substantial evidence, including proof of FDCPA and NJCFA violations, my attempts to seek justice have been systematically thwarted by the court. On August 2, 2024, Judge Mara Zazzali-Hogan issued a judgment against me, even though she had stated on record just a day prior that she was no longer part of my specific case. This procedural irregularity, along with the ongoing attempts by the plaintiff's attorneys to silence me, has left me feeling betrayed by a system that I once trusted.
I have exhausted every possible avenue to bring the truth to light, but no one seems willing to help. My efforts to defend myself have been met with hostility, and now I stand alone, pleading for justice in a world that seems indifferent to my plight.
This is not just about me; it's about the integrity of our legal system. I am calling on the people of Monmouth County and beyond to recognize the grave injustices happening within our courts. If this can happen to me, it can happen to anyone. The time has come to expose the truth and hold those responsible accountable for their actions.
I may be standing alone in this fight, but I refuse to be silenced. I will continue to fight for justice, not just for myself, but for anyone who has ever been wronged by a system that should be protecting us all.
