Samaritan Center Director Regina Finn Dies at 76
Finn was an active member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church.

Regina A. Finn, 76, of Manalapan, passed away on Friday, February 22, 2013, at home with her family. Born in New York City, she has resided in Manalapan for the past 46 years. She was a daily communicant and an active member of St. Thomas More and Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Churches of Manalapan.
She was a member of the Legion of Mary, a past president of The Praisidium and Curia, a Catechist for the R.C.I.A., and board member of Family & Children's Service of Monmouth County. She was a 2nd VP of St Gabriel's Catholic Church's St Vincent de Paul Society. She was a Lay Missionary of Charity where she volunteered at Blessed Mother Teresa's Soup kitchens in the South Bronx, Manhattan, and Asbury Park.
She volunteered at CentraState Medical Center, and many nursing homes in the area. Regina was a social worker who donated many hours for many years to the Samaritan Center in Manalapan where she was also a board member and manager. She will be truly missed by her family, church and many friends.
She was deceased by her husband, Donald, in 2012, and two children, Laureen and Vincent. She is survived by her six children, Rosanne Finn, Stephen (Jeanne) Finn, Gregory (Stacy) Finn, Raymond (Sharon) Finn, Martin Finn, and Timothy (Jennifer) Finn; and five grandchildren, Allison, Molly, Maryrose, Finn and Luke.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, Feb. 27th, from 2 to 8 PM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Manalapan. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, Feb. 28th, at 10:00 AM, at St. Thomas More Church. Interment will follow at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood.
