Structure Fire, DWI, Theft: Manalapan Police Blotter

Manalapan Police reported four incidents of theft from Nov. 27 through Dec. 3.

MANALAPAN, NJ — Manalapan Police reported incidents of driving while intoxicated, theft, a structure fire and more from Nov. 27 through Dec. 3.

Nov. 27
A 77-year-old Manalapan resident reported that someone stole $500 cash that fell from a vehicle while parked at the Wawa located at 146 Woodward Road.

Nov. 29
A 51-year-old Manalapan resident reported being harassed by a neighbor.

Lindsay Berger, 37, of Manalapan, was arrested at a motor vehicle stop on Iron Ore Road. Berger was charged with driving while intoxicated and brought to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where she was processed and released after being issued summonses.

Nov. 30
A 68-year-old Manalapan resident reported that someone stole a package worth $100 from the porch of a Pine Cluster Circle home.

A 60-year-old Highbridge resident reported that someone damaged their vehicle.

Dec. 2
A 40-year-old Manalapan resident reported being harassed over text by a 40-year-old Bridgewater resident.

Employees of Maple Leaf Farm, located at 525 Route 9 in Manalapan, reported that a customer issued a bad check for $1,599.38 to buy merchandise.

Kelly Stone, 24, of Penns Grove, was charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle crash on Route 33 in Manalapan. Stone was arrested and brought to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where she was processed and released after being issued summonses.

The Manalapan Township Fire Department, Gordon’s Corner Fire Department, Millstone Fire Department, Monroe Fire Department, Freehold Township Fire Department and the Monmouth County Fire Marshall responded to a Deepwater Circle home for a structure fire. The incident is currently pending further investigation.

Dec. 3
A 31-year-old Beachwood resident reported that someone stole items worth $4,250 from the property of Mr. Tire, located at 94 Route 9 in Manalapan.

Employees of the Greek Spot, located at 130 Route 33 in Manalapan, reported that someone unlawfully took $2,000 from the business.
