Two Stolen Cars Recovered After Englishtown Police Investigation
Englishtown police report that two vehicles stolen from a burglarized business are recovered - one in Queens.

ENGLISHTOWN, NJ — Two cars stolen from a local business last week have been recovered, police reported.
On Oct. 5, the owner of a borough business reported that their store had been burglarized overnight. In addition to stealing some equipment and cash, thieves stole two motor vehicles that were at the location, police said.
A department detective was at the business, investigating the incident, when an Englishtown patrol officer located one of the stolen vehicles abandoned on a local side street in the borough, police said.

The on Friday morning, the detective on the case located the second vehicle abandoned in a residential neighborhood in Queens, N.Y., just outside of JFK Airport, police said.
The vehicle recovered Thursday in the borough was processed for evidence and returned to the owner.

The vehicle that was recovered in Queens was being processed for evidence in Queens by the local detective.
"This is an active investigation and this department has no further comment other than to thank the 105th Precinct of the NYPD for their assistance," Police Chief Peter S. Cooke Jr. said in the report.
