On Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2021, at approximately 2:50 p.m., employees of the Wegman’s Supermarket, located at 55 Route 9, reported that a subject, described as a Hispanic male wearing a gray t-shirt, shorts, white baseball cap, with a blue mask covering his face, used three counterfeit $100 dollar bills to purchase items at the store. Patrolman Reginald Grant handled the incident, which is pending further investigation.
On Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2021, at approximately 7:00 a.m., a 24-year-old resident of Old Bridge reported that an unknown actor(s) vandalized their vehicle while it was parked in the parking lot of 55 Route 9 in Manalapan. Patrolman Christopher Schou handled the report.

On Monday, Aug. 30, 2021 at approximately 4:40 p.m., a 61-year-old Manalapan Township resident reported that an unknown actor had opened a bank account in the victim’s name. No monetary loss was reported as a result of this incident. Patrolman Matthew Meyler handled the report.
On Monday, Aug. 30, 2021, at approximately 1:26 p.m., a 62-year-old Manalapan Township resident reported that a 38-year-old Manalapan Township resident and 40-year-old Asbury Park resident were harassing the victim via text messages. No complaints were signed as a result of this incident. Patrolman Slad handled the report.

On Saturday, Aug. 28, 2021, at approximately 7:45 p.m., Patrolman James Guarino conducted a motor vehicle stop on US Highway 9 South for motor vehicle violations. The driver of the vehicle, identified as Kia Bailey, a 35-year-old, unmarried, female resident of Reisterstown, Maryland, who is employed as private home aid, was found to have a warrant issued for her arrest by the Mt. Laurel Municipal Court totaling $1,500. Miss Bailey was placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where she was processed and released pending a new court date. Patrolman James Guarino was the arresting officer.
On Saturday, Aug. 28, 2021, at approximately 12:41 p.m., a 54-year-old Manalapan Township resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters to a report that an unknown actor(s) utilized one of their personal accounts to purchase an iPhone 12 Pro Max, in the approximate amount of $1,099.99. Patrolman Douglas Zike handled the report.
On Saturday, Aug. 28, 2021, at approximately 9:22 a.m., Patrolman Kyle Williams conducted a motor vehicle stop on Wickatunk Road for a motor vehicle violation. The driver, identified as Jennifer Barry, a 47-year-old, unemployed, divorced, female resident of Millstone, NJ, was found to be in possession of prescription medications without a valid prescription. The passenger, identified as Brian Lowe, a 39-year-old, unemployed, unmarried, male resident of Millstone, NJ, was also found to be in possession of a prescription medication without a valid prescription. Mrs. Barry and Mr. Lowe were placed under arrest and transported to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters where they were processed and released after being issued a summons. Patrolman Kyle Williams was the arresting officer.
On Friday, Aug. 27, 2021, at approximately 3:02 p.m., a 62-year-old Manalapan Township resident reported that unknown actor(s) used their personal information to open a Sprint account and made $1,139.54 in charges. Patrolman Jeffrey Emslie handled the report, which is pending further investigation.
On Friday, Aug. 27, 2021, at approximately 11:59 a.m., a 36-year-old Manalapan resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters to report that unknown actor(s) accessed the victim’s Chase bank account. Patrolman Jeffrey Emslie took the report, which is pending further investigation.
On Friday, Aug. 27, 2021, at approximately 10:29 a.m., a 33-year-old West Long Branch resident reported that an unknown actor(s) removed an unknown amount of roofing shingles from a construction site on St. Andrews Place in Manalapan Township. Patrolman Reginald Grant handled the report, which is pending further investigation.
On Thursday, Aug. 26, 2021, at approximately 10:05 a.m., a 48-year-old Manalapan Township resident reported that unknown actor(s) entered a residence and vehicles on Rifkin Court. The actors entered an open garage door, and then entered multiple unlocked vehicles, which were parked inside the garage. No items were reported to be missing. Patrolman Mantas Stanionis

On Thursday, Aug. 26, 2021, at approximately 9:40 a.m., a 50-year-old Manalapan Township resident reported that unknown actor(s) entered a vehicle while it was parked in the driveway of a residence Rifkin Court. The actors entered the unlocked vehicle and removed a pair of sunglasses valued at $200. Patrolman Ross Dessel handled the report, which is pending further investigation.
On Thursday, Aug. 26, 2021, at approximately 6:45 a.m., a 66-year-old Manalapan Township resident reported that unknown actor(s) stole a 2014 Mercedes Benz E350 valued at approximately $15,000 from a Gramercy Lane residence. Patrolman Hayden Hrymack handled the report, which is pending further investigation. Residents are reminded to remove all key fobs from their vehicles and lock the doors while parked overnight.
On Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2021, at approximately 1:46 p.m., a 66-year-old Manalapan Township resident responded to Manalapan Township Police Headquarters to report an incident of fraud. The victim reported that an unknown actor attempted to withdraw $2,458.79 from their checking account. The bank was able to stop the transfer before the funds were removed from the account. Patrolman Ross Dessel handled the report, which is pending further investigation.
