Here's where you can vote in person Tuesday (polls close at 8 p.m.), drop your mail-in ballot and who's running:

MANASQUAN, NJ — The 2022 midterm Election Day has arrived.

There is a ballot drop box at the Manasquan municipal building (201 East Main Street Manasquan, NJ 08736) and at Belmar town hall (601 Main Street Belmar, NJ 07719).

If you are voting by mail, your ballot must be postmarked by Nov. 8. Track your mail-in ballot.

Current Belmar Mayor Mark Walsifer and Councilman James McCracken are running for re-election, joined by Council candidate Katrina Clapsis. All three are Republicans.

They will be challenged by Gerald Buccafusco, Maria Rondinaro and Mark Levis, all Democrats.

U.S. Congress: Manasquan and Belmar are both in the Fourth Congressional District, long represented by Chris Smith, a Republican. This year, he is challenged by Democrat Matt Jenkins; Jason Cullen of the Libertarian Party and independents Pamela Daniels, David Schmidt and Hank Schroeder. Smith was the only candidate who did not take part in a most recent public forum, held by the League of Women Voters.
