Belmar 2021 Election Results: Council, Board Of Education
The polls have closed and ballots have been cast in Belmar. See how residents voted in the council, school board races:

BELMAR, NJ - The polls have closed, ballots have been cast and residents have made their voices heard in Belmar. With 2,297 total votes in the race for borough council and3,070 votes in the race for Belmar Board of Education, three candidates are in the lead as of Wednesday morning, according to the Monmouth County Clerk’s Office.
One council seat is up for grabs this year on the Belmar Borough Council, with Democratic nominee Gerald Buccafusco running against Republican nominee Jodi Kinney.
As of 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Kinney was leading slightly ahead of Buccafusco.

Here are the unofficial vote results as of Wednesday morning:
- Buccafusco: 1,134
- Kinney: 1,161
- Write-In: 0
Only two candidates (current member Michelle Lomas and newcomer Erika Salgado) filled out petitions for the three openings on the Belmar Board of Education.
