Belmar Council To Meet On Tuesdays In 2014

Tuesday is the new Wednesday.

The Borough Council will follow a new schedule in the coming year, moving their regular meetings from the first and third Wednesdays of each month to the first and third Tuesdays of each month, according to a discussion held during the workshop portion of the council’s last meeting.

The change in schedule was discussed among members briefly before a straw poll. No one objected.

The governing body will continue to meet at Borough Hall, 601 Main Street, beginning at 6 p.m.

The council’s first meeting will be at noon on Jan. 4, a Saturday, for the annual organization meeting.
