Belmar Elementary School Referendum Results
Here are the results of the referendum on a plan to pay for improvements to the school.

BELMAR – The Belmar Board of Education held a referendum on Tuesday on a plan to undertake various improvements, alterations, renovations and upgrades at Belmar Elementary School.
The referendum was approved 543 to 261, or 67.5 to 32.5 percent.
The plan included acquisition and installation of fixtures, furniture, equipment and any site work.

The plan would appropriate $9,678,328 for the improvements and issue bonds in an
amount not to exceed $9,678,328.
The state has agreed to provide debt service aid in the amount of 40 percent of the “final eligible costs” of the project work.
